The Kinders in my class are a wonderfully energetic bunch of kids. Not only are they learning to read, write, and do math, but they are also still learning to speak and understand English. Their families have come from Mexico, Vietnam, and Somalia to give their children a better life. Our school is one of the largest schools in California. It is also in one of the more socioeconomically disadvantaged areas. However, our school strongly believes in a child's right to the best education. The teachers here are very patient, dedicated and passionate about teaching each child. Our school only has three rules, for staff, parents, and students alike: Work Hard, Be Kind, Dream Big...No Excuses!

About my class
