Success Is "Key"

Thank you so much for your amazing donation of the electronic baby grand piano for our classroom. Currently there are 219 students in a school of about 450 (6-12) who are benefiting from your donation. Our high school is learning the music for our fall show South Pacific, and the High School show choir is boning up on music for our holiday shows that we perform for our local historical society and for assisted living homes. Middle school is using the piano to help them discover their singing voice and learn how to match pitches.

When the students first saw the piano they were all in awe of the beauty that it holds. My students work so hard day in and day out to make a name for themselves in this small school, and often go unappreciated. Each year we send multiple kids to state contests, have students recognized at state levels for their performances, and do more community outreach than most classrooms. Yet, the kids never get a pep rally thrown for them or a special shout out from the administrators. These kids work so hard, and this gift to our classroom has really given them the feeling of appreciation they needed to make this year great.”
