We are an AVID School (advancement via individual determination). Our school is 83% free and reduced lunch. Gathering materials can be a challenge. Funding this project would help families alleviate any worries they may have about providing all the supplies needed. This project will help students start the year off ready to learn. The binders and dividers will be used to keep assignments organized. The pouches will be used to keep daily learning tools for note taking. The pens will be used for note taking. With AVID our elementary students develop the academic habits they will need to be successful in middle school, high school, and college, in an age-appropriate and challenging way. Children learn about organization, study skills, communication, and self-advocacy. If these supplies are funded, it will help students get one step closer to reaching their future goals.
