Here at our school we have a program called SMILES with Books, it stands for students making international literacy easy with books. Students attending our school take books collected through this program to indigenous tribes in Panama, and poor communities in Costa Rica and Belize. Our goal is to collect 2,500 Spanish books and 500 English books. SMILES with Books is a program designed by students at Country Gardens; the purpose of this program is to enable our sponsored villages in Costa Rica, Belize, and Panama to further their education through books collected with this program. Our organization's mission is to make international literacy easy through books.
