Our school focuses on 21st Century skill-building and Collaboration. While using PBLL (Project Based Language Learning) in the classroom, my students learn through using technology, collaboration, presentation and critical thinking. Using tables in class gives students a chance to effectively collaborate while working on class assignments and projects. I often break them into groups and pairs, having tables in class will greatly help with this task. We live in a time where collaboration is highly valued and as a teacher, I foster this frequently within the classroom. Most of my students come from underprivileged families, and as mentioned before, although we live in a wealthy county, our school, and our students, don't share that same wealth.
