  • Student Ownership

    Funded Mar 3, 2020

Students of room 101 were so surprised and excited about the arrival of their new chair pockets! They helped me unpack the boxes and couldn't wait to organize their materials into their very own, sturdy space.

Unfortunately, we were only able to use them for about a week before we were told that we would no longer be able to return to school.

I want you to know that I appreciate your donation so very much! The chair pockets will be used for many years to come and will be a pride for the future kindergarten students in my classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hawkes

  • Paper PLEASE

    Funded Feb 4, 2019

Thank you so much for the supplies! I am currently preparing an art corner and the kids are loving opening all of the boxes. The possibilities are now endless with what they will be able to create. Thanks to you students will be able to show their creative side and have the paper, paint, and some other supplies to express themselves. I now have paper to print craft projects to connect to our literacy standards and the students will be able to have more practice with fine motor skills such as cutting and gluing.

We very much appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to delve into our new supplies!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hawkes

  • Listen to Learn!

    Funded Dec 15, 2018

Thank you so very much for your donation. The head phones arrived just in time... we just received our new district devices this week. Thankfully we had the headphones and students were able to immediately access the technology.

You have shown my students that there is a lot of GOOD in this world. They were in awe that strangers to them were willing to financially support them and their education. We are continually speaking about the importance of learning and being kind to others, but you showed them first hand what kindness looks like.

Students are enjoying educational games trough out the day. They are on a rotation with games that are leveled to meet their needs. I appreciate you allowing them the opportunity to use our technology!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hawkes

Currently, my classroom has four iPads and three desktop computers. However, we only have three pairs of headphones, all broken and held together with tape. Our school is in the process of a large technology roll out that will make our classroom 2:1 ratio, students to laptops. In order for my students to be able to engage with the technology, they need headphones. The programs that we use in the classroom all speak to students. Whether it be giving directions, singing a song, reading a book, or naming letters and numbers, headphones are a necessary aspect in engaging in technology.
