We made the project successful together! The students will enjoy learning physical science standards using engaging STEAM projects. The students will be attending STEAM academy over the mid-winter recess and the materials will make it very fun for them to learn.
Thank you for all your help and support.”

Thank you for providing the extra calming pillows for my students. All my special needs kids were very happy to see them. They all try to get one to use every class.
The lessons we can complete while using the pillows will allow fidgety students to focus more on their lessons. My students love to make new STEAM projects and we're thrilled to be able to create specialized seating that will allow them to do that. It will be a centerpiece of the Design class for some time. Thank you once more for your generosity. We can't wait to begin!”
Thank you for your donation to my robot coding project. The students have learned to code more effectively by planning their path and coding it on paper. Then, they click on the arrow keys to program the robot to move in different ways.
There is an addition game I play with the Botley robots. First, a pair of students add 2 numbers together to find a total. Then, I spread all the possible answers within a square meter. Next the students will planning their path to the correct answer and coding it on paper. Then, they click on the arrow keys to program the robot to the correct answers. This is an effective STEAM method to incorporate math into the coding experience.
Again, thank you for your donation.”

I am now able to have individual iPads for every student in grades K to 2. Still need 5 more, but I am working on that.
The students are practicing coding programs in code.org and scratch jr. formats. In addition, the iPads are being used for online research.
It has also been used in math and ELS online practice websites. The NYS regents commission requires that students spend at least 45 minutes a day working in the math or literacy section of the I-Ready website.
Thank you for your donations.”
