• Math Manipulatives and Games

  It has been invaluable to have math materials that students can get their hands on to support their math learning. The base ten blocks have been very helpful in helping my students understand regrouping and building numbers. The linking cubes have helped students practice adding, subtracting, and volume. I know my students will be growing in their math this year with the addition of so many math manipulatives. My students have learned a variety of math games with the addition of playing cards. We have enough cards for students to play solo or with a partner.

• Flexible and Comfortable

  My students have truly loved and appreciated having so many seating options to pick from each day. We have settled into a good routine so each student has an opportunity to try every seating option. The weighted animals are well-loved by students needing something to cuddle. My class frequently asks when we can get more weighted animals and wobble stools so they have even more options to pick from.

  We are extremely grateful for the support and kindness that my classroom has received. I could never provide my students with these amazing seating options on my own.”

• Graphic Novels

  The new graphic novels have been a huge hit in the classroom. Access to new books helps grow a love for reading! We have a silent reading time each Thursday that the students look forward to each week. They get to select a comfy spot in the room to enjoy their book for 30 minutes. We have been so fortunate to have projects with books supported allowing my students to have access to an incredible amount of titles. I am able to provide students access to complete series of books which wouldn't be possible without your support.

• Building Readers

  The I Survived Graphic Novels have been a huge hit in the classroom. Several students have created a trade list for who gets to read the books next. They wish there were more available to them! We have a silent reading time each Thursday that the students look forward to each week. They get to select a comfy spot in the room to enjoy their book for 30 minutes. • Fall in Love With Reading

  My students have truly loved the additions to our classroom library. The addition of pictures books has really helped make the classroom library accessible to more students. Students are constantly creating a trade list for who gets to read the Weird but True books next as well as who gets the next turn with I Spy. I love that more students are taking advantage of reading the books in our classroom library. There is no shortage of books thanks to generous donors like yourself. I am always blown away with the support my classroom receives from amazing people like yourself.”

• Printing in Color

  It has been a few weeks since my classroom printer arrived. It's been immensely helpful already. I am able to quickly print off assignments that students have misplaced. We were preparing for a test when I realized that I was short 5 copies. I printed the extra copies with hardly a pause in my direction giving. My students are loving that I can print materials in color for them like fraction bars. I really love that I can print notes for parents on bright paper to help avoid them getting misplaced or lost.

• Liven Up Indoor Recess

  Indoor recess has been a frequent occurrence since the arrival of November and December. Students are loving having a wide selection of games to pick from at each recess. They are developing amazing skills in how to play cooperatively. Students are learning how to take turns and the importance of reading directions to a new game.

  The class takes great pride in carrying for their new games to ensure they will be able to play them throughout the year. We still have a long way to go with this winter and I know the class will continue to love the board games with each passing indoor recess.

• Growing Readers

  Funded Oct 21, 2021

  This project may have provided the most loved materials. My students created the list of books that they really wanted added to our classroom. One student was able to catch up on the Wings of Fire series solely because of your support! She was so excited to be able to just grab the next book off the shelf.

  The Dog Man series has been a huge hit with my 4th graders as well. I am so thankful to be able to get high interest books into my students hands. I would never be able to provide these materials without your support and kindness.”

• Back to School

  Funded Aug 30, 2021

  The resources provided from this project have been so helpful this school year. My students love being able to pick a new sticker when they are recognized for going above and beyond throughout the day. The glue sticks, pencils, and laminating sheets of helped me to not have to purchase those items out of my own pocket.

  The mail slot divider has been so great for passing back completed work. It has held up very well this far. We have been able to play math games thanks to the dice we received.
