  • Flag Football

    Funded May 17, 2024

Various students in my class have never thrown a football before. Having this equipment they will explore and learn a new sport.

When I took out the footballs and flags to use it during physical activity they got excited. I did notice a few who were a bit intimidated. I reassured them that we will learn to throw and catch and to not be scared. Learning a new sport is challenging but that I am sure they will do great. Once we started using the equipment and learning how to throw the footballs they were all in.”

  • iPad Coding

    Funded May 24, 2024

When I told my students that we got this new iPad for our classroom they started cheering and hollering. My 3rd grade students are using the iPad during STEM time. We use it when we are coding on different websites. They like how it is more light weight and portable than the computers they usually use. We rotate the iPad so that they can all get a chance to use it.

My students are most excited to learn how to navigate it. Students are becoming experts in how to use the iPad. This will help them in using different electronic devices.

We are grateful you selected our classroom.”
