  • Flexible Seating

    Funded Jul 24, 2017

Flexible seating allows my students to sit comfortably in different ways around the classroom. Gone are the days were you must sit at your desk all day. Students are able to sit at tables, lay on the floor, and wiggle with moveable seats. Research shows that allowing students movement throughout the day helps them stay focused. We want our students to feel comfortable when learning. We hope that these materials will provide a learning environment and community where all students can learn and grow.”

  • Supporting Continued Learning at Home

    Funded Aug 25, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity! The materials that were purchased will be used to help extend student learning at home. Students will be able to practice skills they learned in class and take home games they can play with family members. The students enjoy sharing their learning with family members as well get excited to show their parents how to play they games they enjoy at school.

We hope that this will continue to spark a love for learning and math, as well as help students to understand that learning doesn't stop at school, but they can continue to grow at home as well.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albrecht

  • Online Assessment Materials

    Funded Feb 12, 2024

Thank you so much for your support in purchasing these resources for our classroom. In schools, many assessments are now taken online. We need sets of head phones for students to be able to work in a quiet environment, while being able to focus on their personal assessment. We go through many sets of headphones each year and these resources allow us to take the burden off of parents having to purchase many sets during the school year.

We appreciate donors like you who take the time to support classrooms, students, and teachers. Without this help we would not be able to provide as much and give our students the best possible learning environments.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albrecht

  • Developing Quality Assessments

    Funded Jun 16, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation. These books will help support my own personal learning in the areas of number sense and assessment development. I work hard to stay informed within my teaching and finding the best ways to help support my students learning.

I know that through reading these books, I will be better able to understand how my students develop numeracy and number sense. Working with students who are several grade levels below their classmates I know that I have to work hard to find ways to help them catch up and get to where they need to be.

Thank you again for your support and helping us learn.”

  • Virtual and In-Person Resources

    Funded Jun 8, 2022

Thank you so much for your support and generous donation to our classroom. Your donation has allowed us to purchase classroom supplies, games, and activities that can be used to support student learning. Due to spending a year virtually learning, many of our students are lacking important skills they need in order to be successful in their current classrooms. We use these materials to help students catch up on their learning in a way that is hands on and fun. There have been struggles in teaching and learning in the past couple of years, but with your generosity we are able to get back to a place where school is exciting, fun, and a place where students can excel and achieve their goals.”

    With gratitude,

  • Social Emotional Learning Books

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

Thank you so much for your support to our classroom. We have been enjoying these books both virtually and in person this year. These books were specifically bought to help support student social and emotional well being. The stories touch on different emotions, how to process through these emotions, as well as uncertain times.

We use these books to help lead discussions in the classroom about how students are feeling and processing these emotions. It is a great way for students to make connections to themselves.

We have had a hard few years and the children and full of strong emotions. It is important that we connect to students in different ways and help support them in processing these feelings.

Thank you for your support! We appreciate all that you do for our classrooms.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albrecht
