I would love to provide an inviting and fun speech therapy room for my students. I typically work with students in small groups and do not have the proper furniture to accommodate the students. A kidney table will make a world of a difference when teaching my students strategies/techniques, as well as for peer socialization. For some students, coming to speech therapy in middle school can be challenging because they are becoming aware of themselves. By providing a welcoming environment, I hope to build stronger relationships with students, as well as for students to build healthy and positive relationships with each other.
