My students love to have a choice in assignments and seating. By having different seating options, students choose what works best for them. By having flexible seating such as Hokki stools and bean bag chairs, they feel in control and challenged. My students feel in charge of their learning when they can choose their assignment and seating option. By having access to stools and portable seats, students are more focused and engaged. They find a location in the room that is comfortable for them and away from distractions. When I am able to give my students a​ choice in seating and assignments, they are more motivated and engaged in their work. They are also less disruptive and more willing to ask for help. The end result is more successful students.
