My students share table space. Four students are seated at six long rectangular tables. There is no place to put immediate supplies. I'd like to fashion four plastic crates at the ends of each table on the floor so students can quickly gather what they need. In reverse, a quick place to stash materials is needed when a pencil is all that is needed. Having a place close by will save on instructional time, and supplies should last longer. Organizing work space isn't a lesson taught, it's a rote procedure. This is our need. Please help us utilize our time working, thinking, creating, and collaborating rather than worrying about where we can get our hands on our materials.
