On behalf of our classroom community, I want to thank you for your generous support in providing essential materials for our special needs and medically fragile students. In our classroom, every student brings unique gifts and challenges. For some, even small victories, like holding a pencil, using adaptive tools, or completing a sensory activity, represent monumental achievements. The materials you have provided, whether specialized equipment, sensory items, or technology, have been instrumental in helping our students reach their full potential.

My students with limited mobility have been able to engage with peers and participate in classroom activities through the use of sensory materials and assistive communication devices. This experience develops their confidence to express their thoughts and feelings. The color printer provides the students with a connection to real-world images that connect them to different lessons and experiences. The impact of your generosity extends to our sensory program, which is vital for helping students self-regulate and engage with their surroundings. Items such as fidget toys, timers, and tactile tiles provide the students with calming sensory experiences that assist in their self-regulation regulation and mental health throughout the day
