Keep Us Warm this Winter with a Kind Coat

This classroom project was brought to life by PB and K Family Foundation and 4 other donors.

My students are in urgent need of winter coats. I have ten special needs students ranging within the age of eighteen to twenty and they do not have the means to buy a winter coat. They all are from improvised families with lots of physiological needs. The winter season is quickly approaching and I have observed some of my students coming to school in the blistering cold wearing only a long sleeve shirt. Other students are choosing not to attend school because they lack the basic essential of a coat to wear in the cold. If I am able to get some winter coats for my students, this will enable them to attend school during the winter months, prevent disruption to their learning process and keep them warm and healthy throughout the blistering cold.
