This is year two of the project and my students are now 5th graders. They have learned how to reach out to the community and to build relationships with the seniors. The residents look forward to seeing the students on Sundays! This past October, our students brought mini pumpkins that they decorated with the residents, and their pumpkins decorated their resident hall! The students are learning ways of becoming productive and contributing members of society. With their compassion, love, and patience, they are making a great difference in the lives of others! This November, we plan on making Thankful wreaths for their doors.
