My plan is to start using flexible seating in the speech room to help my preschool to 8th grade students be more successful practicing their communication skills. During small group speech and/or language therapy it's very hard for some students to stay engaged for the entire 30 minutes. By using flexible seating, I'm hoping my fidgety students will be able to concentrate more on their speech and language tasks to meet their target goals and objectives. My preschool and kindergarten students can share the wobble chair and my older students can benefit from using the chair bands on their chairs.
