Wiggle seats, chair bands, and yoga balls are needed in our class as a learning tool. Our students have developed a "growth mindset" attitude by taking ownership in their learning and seeking out tools provided by the classroom teacher. We currently only have flexible seating for our read aloud activities. Students have completed a survey based on what seating arrangements they feel they would use to improve their learning experience. We need flexible seating options to accommodate our students need and help them maintain engagement throughout the school day. My classroom environment is designed to support the students as a self-contained setting. My students deserve to feel comfortable in the seat they sit on for the entire school day.
