Flexible seating is one of the many tools for helping students concentrate more in class. The cushions will be available to students at their table to use throughout the day. Currently,​ students are able to sit throughout the room on stools or floor pillows. One of our tables is set low to the ground for the ones that wish to use the floor pillows. Since allowing my students to sit in places other than their desks, I have seen a lot of improvement in their attentiveness and also in their work. My students work is noticeably improved and they are more engaged in the lessons since giving them the option of flexible seating. I will use the items on my list to equip my students with the materials they need to learn to the best of their ability. The Magna Tiles will be a great addition to our morning creative time, and will also help students learn to work together, as well as improve their fine/gross motor skills. Our classroom has lockers instead of cubbies, the Book Boxes will be used in them to hold their books and help them stay organized. This project will help improve the learning environment for my students so they are able to reach their full potential.
