My classroom is an ABA room, which means Applied Behavioral Analysis. The children in my classroom have Down Syndrome or are children with autism. We are constantly working on behavior and pre-requisite skills. Our children are very low functioning and sometimes tracing can be a challenge for them. With the purchase of the Amazon Fire Tablets and the Pre-Writing Magnetic board, we can help our children develop basic fine motor skills. We work on basic things such as colors, counting, shapes and numbers daily. The sequencing puzzles and sorting mazes we have asked for will help our kids with differentiating. The sensory blanket will be used for our students that need that extra sensory input throughout the day.
