Studies have shown that hands on activities are the best tool for children to learn. For students learning a second language visuals are extremely important. My focus is to help my students develop their reading skills to become successful readers. These items I am requesting will make it easier for them to learn. The items I have listed will help the students socialize and interact with their peers as they learn. The different activities will allow them to choose keeping them engaged and help them begin to read. Once students begin to read the focus will be to enhance their fluency and comprehension. These activities will help with this as well.
