The Multi-Sensory Oasis will provide our Pre-K students with an atmosphere to meet their multi-sensory needs. Our students range from ages 3-5. Our quest is to create a learning environment that meets the needs of all of our students. The Fold and Go Trampoline will assist with vestibular motion and the development of gross motor skills , as well as, balance. The Step A Logs will assist in the improvement of balance and stability. The Fun Tube will enhance visual sensory play to calm and soothe. The Sensory Bar Desk Buddy is utilized as a sensory aid to calm students individually during academic instruction. The Light Up Molecule Ball is a occupational tactile fidget utilized as a stress reliever. The Intex Crystal Blue Inflatable Pool is a sensory ball pit to provide buoyant support, deep pressure sensation and encourage relaxation. The Ball Pit will also be used to enhance visual, auditory and tactile sensory stimuli. Lastly, the Sensory Brush Set and Bantoo Roller are for deep pressure and tactile stimulation. The Multi-Sensory Oasis will meet the sensory needs of all of our students. The Multi-Sensory Oasis will complete our endeavor to meet the needs of every student in our school. We have Pre-K students that will benefit greatly from a sensory space that will provide the necessary sensory items to assist them with calming and refocusing to enhance their ability to learn in their classroom learning environment.
