  • Neurodivergent Needs For My Classroom!

    I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity. My students are going to be so excited. They love using the fidgets and these tools really help all my students remain focused during class. Thanks again I can't wait for the resource to arrive. I enjoy the look on my students' faces when I show them new equipment. Many of our community do not have much, so when I am able to introduce them to something new, I love it. They are great kids who just need a brain breaks.”

Having a cozy reading corner with giant pillows to sit on will make the task of independent read special and comfortable. This is the first step in implementing flexible seating in my classroom. Flexible seating empowers students by giving them choice within their learning. The comfort the pillows provide will enhance their learning by giving them a cozy place to practice their developing reading skills. These items are easily movable around the classroom, allowing students the freedom relocate around the classroom. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk. It makes reading time special.
