S.T.E.A.M in preschool is a ground-breaking program that uses the STEAM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) in all areas of our curriculum. This includes emphasis on the cognitive, physical, and social-emotional domains of development. We will infuse the color-changing light table to add a new dimension to color and light experiments. With the light-table manipulatives, the children will explore the properties of color and light while building math, language and science skills at the same time! We will enhance our daily schedule with hands-on opportunities to build on the natural curiosity of all children using real pictures with the help of the color printer, plants, magnets and developmentally appropriate materials. Preschoolers can begin to learn these skills through an integrated STEAM curriculum.
