The book that I chose "Fiesta Fatal" will be an exciting and culturally rich book for my students. It will facilitate my goal to read two books with each level of my students. It is important that these novels fit the curriculum and needs of my students. With these new novels my students will be able to contextualize the grammar and vocabulary they are learning in class in a thought -provoking manner. Reading helps language learners increase knowledge of the language and the way it is used in real-life contexts. On many occasions, I have heard or seen my students use a phrase or vocabulary that they have read in story in class. My students enjoy reading interesting stories in class together. They often try to predict the ending or what will happen next and put themselves in the character's point of view.
