Students perform below grade level in reading and math. A large portion of our school day is spent in small groups with students rotating onto their assigned computer intervention. Grade level material is difficult for them to access, which is why our computer interventions are essential. Students have accounts for reading programs such as Lexia and I-ready and math support websites STMath and Zearn. Students need personal headphones so that they can better focus and the sound can be more manageable for students who may be distracted by the noise. By using these programs, students will have the opportunity to improve their reading and math skills allowing them opportunity to close the achievement gap.
