My students will benefit from our project by giving them the tools they need to create and share college and career research projects in their groups. We live in a digital world, and a digital classroom is key in reaching their highest potential. The flexible seating beanbag chairs will allow my students an alternative to sitting at their desks for independent reading and daily assignments. Through flexible seating, I have seen an increase in collaboration, communication, and motivation in my classroom. I have recently discovered an App called Personal Zen, which is clinically proven to reduce stress and anxiety by playing a game. This could be offered in their groups as a “brain break” since we are on block schedule and have 90 minute classes.
