  • New Students, New Learning Styles

    Funded Feb 28, 2025

Thank you so very much for supporting my project. Having a Teacherspayteachers.com gift card really allows for me to find new things for my students to do that will help them and their learning styles. My students will love the new activities that I will be able to find and create for them with your donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • Building Creativity

    Funded Feb 15, 2025

Thank you so very much for your donation and support of my project and classroom! My students will have so much fun building with the tree stumps and birds. My students will be excited that our collection of clip and create has grown! They love those toys so much. This new addition will allow for more kiddos to be able to play and bigger creations to be able to be made!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • Organizing TK

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation to my project. Being able to have these amazing containers really helps to organize my classroom so much better. Things are able to be contained in a way that they are safe from hands trying to get them when they are supposed to because they have lids. Also, because they are clear, children can clearly see what is inside the container to find what they want easier. The children are doing a better job of putting the toys away and helping to clean up the classroom.

Thank you for helping to keep our classroom organized.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • Safely Reading

    Funded Dec 29, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation to my project. My students are loving getting to read these books! During their choice time when they get to choose what they want to do, they are often found in the library reading the books on their own or reading through them with an adult. These books have also helped to calm some of my students with more energy. The same child who might be found running across the room, is now happily sitting in the library either "reading" to themselves or reading with an adult.

Thank you for giving my students this reading opportunity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • Quiet Time Play

    Funded Sep 28, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation to my project! My students love getting to play with the magnetic dolls! They love dressing them up in different outfits! Even the boys have a ton of fun dressing up the male characters. The kids also love using the alphabet magnetic board. It is such a fun way to practice letters as the kids match capital to lower case letters and they are practicing fine motor skills. These fine motor skills are preparing them for being ready to write.

What fun ways to practice life skills, build their imaginations and staying quieter while friends are resting.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • More Scrapbook Safety

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation to my project for scrapbooks! My students love getting to see what they have done over the year and with these scrapbooks, the scrapbook pages that my students will create, will be much safer! They will also last so much longer. I had a student from a couple years ago come back and tell me that he still has the scrapbook that we made in class. This warmed my heart and I know that it has lasted so much longer because he too had a beautiful scrapbook for his work just like my students have this year!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • I Need Ice!

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation to my project. Being able to have the ice machine in my classroom has helped us so much! Because my students are 4 years old, they tend to fall a lot. Their bodies are growing and they are learning about their new body as it changes. By becoming accustomed to these body changes, they tend to fall a lot. When one of my young students is in need of ice, we are able to quickly get ice for them from the classroom and they don't need to worry about walking down to the office.

Thank you for helping my students to have easier and faster access to ice!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • Counting Fun

    Funded Sep 2, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation to my project! My students love getting to play with all the fun math, counting activities that came in this project. The counting tubes with the balls are super fun! The kids love capturing the ball in the tube and seeing how many they can get. After counting, they can see the number at the top of the tube. They are being able to learn what the number looks like.

They also love the frog balance beam. They have been having so much fun putting frogs on the balance to see how to balance out the beam with the number on the other side. Thank you again for your donation! My students are having fun and learning at the same time!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

  • Creative Creatures

    Funded Dec 9, 2024

Thank you so very much for your donation and support for my class! My students will love these fun new toys! They will be able to work on their imaginations and their fine motor skills!

Thank you again for supporting my class and helping them to learn in different ways!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Monterrosa

My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. They are third graders with lots of energy. Many of them do not speak English as their first language. They also don't have many opportunities to experience many different activities outside of school. I think it is very important and beneficial for them to be able to have a hands-on experience to learn more about the world they live in.
