Raise your hand if you loved physics! Hmmm, I don't see many hands . . . that's because physics is often taught conceptually which makes it difficult to relate to the concepts. PocketLab will enable our students to spin, throw a ball, crash a car (no, not a real one!) and computer-code video games controlled by a handheld controller - the PocketLab - while they collect data the whole time. These devices are brilliant and offer extensions into physics, computer coding (via Scratch), atmospheric pressure, humidity and the like. These devices will open a whole new area of data interpretation.
