With these sufficient supplies that were funded to my classroom, I am able to manage the classroom and keep a daily routine so students are able to obtain their supplies and materials. Using bins and other essential classroom supplies students will learn to be successful in their notetaking skills, organizational skills and studying skills. • Let's Bring Technology into Our Classrooms!

  Dear Donors,

  Thank you so much for your generous donation!! Your assistance in providing the classroom with technological devices is most beneficial. Having technological devices like a MAC laptop is essential in order to further promote student understanding of science material. The MAC laptop will be utilized to develop and research essential science lesson plans aligned with the New Generation science for the state of NJ. Lesson plans will include WebQuests for students to conduct within the science classroom using their MAC Desktops. Students will be able to access Teacher's WikiPage for information developed by teacher such as WebQuests, online research projects, science projects, as well as notes and assignments pertained to particular science units. Teacher will develop SMART Notebook interactive activities such as the interactive SmartBoard for the Gases of the Atmosphere Pie Chart Activity, for example. SmartBoard clickers for assessments will be utilized as well through the MAC laptop. MAC Laptop will be utilized for Online BrainPop Quizzes and BBC.com and Pbs.org Video clips, as part of daily instruction. In addition, Science classrooms will be exposed to videos, resources, instructional clip through McGraw-Hill/Glencoe online science Textbooks, which can be utilized in the classroom.”

  Dear Donors,

  Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Your donations will enable students to maintain a resourceful classroom environment. School supplies are a necessity to everyday classroom activities. By having an abundant amount of pens, pencils, sharpeners, etc. within a classroom students will be able to take notes, perform activities, and work efficiently and to the best of their ability. Note-taking skills are essential in a science classroom and highlighters are a requirement within the science classroom. Therefore, students are able to improve their note-taking skills and studying skills by taking sufficient notes. Additionally, it is essential to maintain organized science journals, via notebook, binders, etc. so that one can improve studying skills and perform well in school.

  Further, as a teacher, by possessing supplies such as binders, dividers, papers, pencils and desk accessories, I am able to maintain an organized and efficient classroom for the students by creating and maintaining interactive lesson plans for the science classroom. By being an organized teacher, one can promote sufficient classroom management, which will further allow one to implement ample amount of instruction within the classroom environment!”

• The Genetics Critter Family Portrait Project

• Let's Explore the Fascinating Human Body!

  I am greatly thankful for your contribution towards the Human Body Project Supplies!!!! My classroom will be an intriguing and inspiring hands-on environment with models that will promote learning towards Life Science. Students will be able to visually observe the muscular models of the Human Body, such as the hand model and leg model, in order to further understand the importance and function of each part of the human body. Students will be able to appreciate the ability of a close experience with these human body models and they will have the same opportunity of having hands-on experiences as do students of colleges and universities.

• Let's Put Our Hands on the Plant Model!

With the Plant Cell Model, students are able to clearly recognize the structures within the Plant Cell and understand the functions of the organelles within the living organism. It is imperative that students are familiar with the smallest unit of a plant, in order to further comprehend the importance of the niche of the producers within the environment. Students will understand why keeping our environment clean and pollutant-free is of great importance for consumers, such as humans, to live in a clean environment.
