My school was one of the many schools along the North Carolina coast that was hit very hard by Hurricane Florence. As a result of that we missed 21 days of school and therefore all field trips for the year have been canceled. Please help me take these kids on some amazing trips in the virtual world where they can experience the architecture and innovations of the Greeks and Romans first hand. Learn about trade networks by traveling down the silk road and understand the impact of the Bubonic Plague by visiting European burial sites. The Virtual Reality kit comes with goggles, devices and a teacher iPad so I can lead the tours for my students. I have borrowed a similar kit from the county office and used it in my classroom but we only have one kit for the whole entire county and it is often booked. I would like to have one set up for my school so anyone could check it out and use it with our students.
