  • Lights! Camera! Action! Our News Team Needs New Equipment

    I cannot thank you enough for contributing to this project! We’ve been using green plastic table clothes and reading lamps for a green screen and lighting. The students will be so pleased to use real green screens, microphones and lighting. These items will also improve the quality of our news programs. Thank you so much for your generous donations!”

We began this semester with the an iPad for filming and a MacBook for editing our news program. It's time to upgrade our video production. We need microphones, lighting and a backdrop to create a better finished product each week. I began this school year with the goal of working with students to create a weekly news program for our school that would spotlight the programs and events that are happening within our building and that would also give our students a voice and an opportunity to shine. My students have brought unbelievable enthusiasm to our broadcast. It is a wonderful experience for the students who create the program as well as the students who watch it each week.
