  • Love for Reading

    Funded Mar 10, 2022

A million thank you's for your generous donation to our 5th grade students. With your donation, I will be able to continue to grow their love for reading. It can be very difficult for students to read, but providing them with books they will love will help tremendously. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barbosa

  • Books, Books, and More Books!

    Funded Mar 16, 2021

Thank you for providing my students with books to grow their love of reading. Reading can be hard for a lot of students. A lot of my students struggle with reading standards, especially when they have to read stories they do not like. However, these books have provided my students with stories that they love and enjoy to read. The books that were provided allow my students to learn the standards with a story they love and this has helped massively. My students also thank you for providing them with books they enjoy reading.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barbosa

  • Looking Ahead

    Funded Jul 24, 2021

Thank you for providing my students with the necessary tools to be successful this year. Being a title one school, students lack the basic necessities needed for class. These supplies have helped us provide our students with the tools to be successful. Students are now able to reflect upon their work and use the materials needed to complete assignments. Students look forward to coming to school everyday because they are able to use the tools they need. We thank you for all the amazing things people are doing to change the classroom.”

  • Colorful Education

    Funded Oct 23, 2019

Due to the school closures my students and myself have had to incorporate a lot of technology for learning. Although we used technology in the classroom everyday, this new challenge has pushed my students to different levels. This projects has allowed my students to have colorful work within the classroom that helped with their understanding of key concepts and skills.

This projected allow my students to learn and better understand these key concepts and skill by using color. With such a large class, my students were able to better comprehend the concepts that were being taught. My students were also able to gain rewards for thinking outside of the box throughout the week.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barbosa

I need board games to help my students learn problem solving skills. Learning to get along and solve problems on their own is a very important skill that we work on during the year in first grade. The board games will help them work together to learn everyday problem solving skills and provide an opportunity for team work and center time. Prizes for the treasure box will encourage students to behave and complete their work every day. The students love little prizes and getting to choose what they want is a huge motivation for them to complete their work and to follow the rules. The students also need spiral notebooks, dry erase boards, dry erase markers, pens, and a pencil sharpener to help with interactive learning activities. These tools will help students to further their understanding in learn.
