  • National Board Certification to Improve Literacy

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

I am deeply grateful for your generous support of my DonorsChoose project to help me achieve National Board Certification. Your contribution has brought me closer to reaching this significant professional milestone, which will directly enhance my ability to serve my students effectively. Knowing that there are individuals like you who believe in the value of empowering educators inspires me to work even harder to make a difference in my classroom and beyond.

National Board Certification is not only a personal goal but also a way to improve the quality of education I provide to my students. Your kindness has given me the resources I need to take this important step in my career. With your support, I can focus on meeting the rigorous standards of certification, knowing that my financial burden has been eased. The impact of your donation extends far beyond my personal journey—it touches the lives of every student I teach by ensuring they receive the highest quality of education.

Once again, thank you for your generosity and belief in the power of education. Your support fuels my passion for teaching and reminds me of the profound impact a caring community can have on an individual's success. I am honored and encouraged by your commitment to educators like me, and I promise to pay it forward in the work I do each day.”

  • Library Furniture for a 21st Century Media Library

    Funded Nov 15, 2023

Thank you so much for the library furniture. The students now have a lounge area to read and we have a presentation desk for students to present at from the Promeathean. We truly appreciate your donations! Now the student will be able to relax and enjoy their reading time instead of always having to sit in the desks. The students will also be able to attach their lap top to the front desk to be able to do presentations to the class in an effective manner. This is so powerful for us to have this space!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Haley

  • 21at Century Lessons and Skills in every class!

    Funded Nov 8, 2021

I want to thank you so much for our 3 laptops that students can use to record many projects. Our latest project was students who completed a recording on FlipGrid. Students had to respond to eight different prompts and explain what rhetorical device they were using. The students then had to state whether they were using ethos, pathos, or logos to persuade the audience. Students filled out the graphic organizer on the laptops that were provided through Donor's Choose. I put all directions online as a video and students were able to login and respond with their videos. Thank you so much for allowing the project to be possible for our students with these laptops!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Haley
