The love of reading is built through exposure. These books will provide my students with a variety of titles to make them curious. Struggling readers sometimes shy away from reading because they have yet to find a book title that has captured their interest and hooked them into the story. My hope is that these books will pull those readers in and create a love of learning and a strong foundation. By donating these book titles to our classroom, you will not only be building our classroom library, but you will also be providing some students with exposure to topics and experiences that they may not have the chance to experience in their lifetime. Books can become an escape for struggling children, an adventure for those who seek new people and places, and a haven for those who seek comfort within the pages. By supporting this project, you will be personally affecting the life of at least one child who gets to escape reality and meet magical characters, visit foreign lands, and learn the history of our ancestors and country.
