Needed Back to School Supplies
Funded Aug 21, 2023Thank you so much for helping to fund our project. Our wobble chairs are the best!!
It was the best day ever this year when our alternative seating arrived in our classroom. My students were so excited to have the opportunity to use alternative seating throughout the day and on many occasions.
Did you know that alternative seating allows children to have the option to sit in a different area besides a regular table giving them the movement and flexibility that they need.
Math class is so productive with the use of white boards and markers. And just like pencils, white board markers don't last forever but thanks to you we have a nice supply to replenish when needed.
The students desks are well organized due to the colorful folders. Subject materials are easier to find.
Again, thanks for all you do!”

Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank you so much for helping to fund our project. Our alternative seats are the best!!
It was the best day ever this year when our alternative seating arrived in our classroom. My students were so excited to have the opportunity to use alternative seating throughout the day and on many occasions.
Wobble chairs and yoga balls have many benefits. Did you know that:
*Alternative seating allows children to have the option to sit in a different area besides a regular table.
* Alternative seating shows improved participation and behavior in class.
* Alternative seating improves restlessness in students.
* Alternative seating allows some children to pay more attention to the lesson and focus on the teacher.
* Alternative seating shows higher academic performance in some content areas.
*Alternative seating improves your core and strengthens your posture.
Both the students and I are experiencing the benefits of these alternative seats.”

Funded Mar 17, 2021Last spring it has been challenging to work with both online and in-person students at the same time from a flat surface desk. With my new adjustable desk, it only takes a push if a button and I was at the
right height whether I was sitting
and directing my at home students or standing and walking around the
room helping the in person
students.
Now that we are back in person full time my new desk is still so important. It is located right in the front of the room and it is perfect to help with social distance. The students can still come up for help but the table keeps us three feet apart and safe.
Thank you for supporting our classroom and helping us to remain socially distant.”

B2B Back to Basics
Funded Oct 22, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations. During this Pandemic and remote learning, supplies and resources have been limited. With your help and support my students have been able to get what they need.
With your help I was able to send home more extremely needed white board markers. We use them daily and are so lucky to have enought to share several with the students. The students also use the dry erase pockets to do worksheets on that can be corrected and reused if necessary to support the skill we are using.
The students also got math games that were laminated on brightly colored card stock so they can identify the game and skill by the color of the board. And they will last all year with them being laminated.
The new American Government books and resource book have helped me teach my students about voting and the importance of our US Government which has come in very handy this election year. We are blessed to have you in our World.”

Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations. The boys and girls in my class LOVE science. While teaching and learning from home has had its challenges your donation has made it easier to do the one thing fourth graders love to do, science experiments! From simple projects of building towers with index cards to more complex experiments in the force of motion, the properties of Earth and STEM activity tubs were all made possible with your donation.
And on top of all those supplies the students got the much needed supplies of tape, scissors and rulers to use with all science projects. The students were very excited to receive their bags of supplies. Thank you so much for your generosity.”

Funded Oct 13, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom.
November 2020 was an important presidential election and I wanted my students to understand what was going on in our world. I wanted them to have knowledge of the election procedures and the history behind voting. The new books we received through this project allowed me to explain the process and the results.
My students created posters for a mock election trying to get their classmates to vote for them using the tri-fold boards and new markers from this project.
The world is a better place because of people like you.”

Funded Oct 31, 2020After teaching for more than 20 years I thought I have seen it all. BUT, NOT TRUE..These amazing life size magnetic manipulatives are one of the best tools I have ever used. We are fully remote and to have a math tool that the students can see and understand is a life changer. During this Pandemic there have been a lot of struggles and one of the biggest is that the students struggle to see what you are doing over a camera, especially in Math. Now with these tools, the full size magnetic white board, the magnetic lined sheet and the magnetic graph paper the students can see and follow along much easier.
The day I opened these materials the children cheered!
Thank you so much for being part of our world, we are lucky to have you!❤”

Educational Resources
Funded Sep 17, 2020Thank you so much for the awesome support. The
Teachers Pay Teachers gift certificate has allowed me to purchase many needed Math activities and games that were sent home to my remote students. My students can go into break out rooms and play these math games and activities. The students love the games and activities. Using these games and activities will continue to support the concepts and standards that are being learned on a daily basis in our classroom.
The laptop stand is amazing. I can place my laptop on this adjustable stand as I teach on Zoom. The students now have a better view of the classroom whiteboard as I use it to show examples.
We are so lucky for your support.”
