Many of the students in my class have reading, decoding, reading rate, vocabulary and comprehension difficulties and cannot read traditional books. The good news for my struggling readers is that literacy can continue to blossom since an increasing number of books are more accessible and converted to alternative formats. Every student deserves the chance to take part in using technology that will change their world and increase their learning opportunity. Having ASUS VivoBooks allows for individualizing learning for students with disabilities, differentiating teaching for these students, and making sure these students have access to books in alternative formats according to their individual needs.
