With these tablets my students will be able to gain another way access the world of math. There are a multitude of number apps and counting apps that can benefit my students daily. While some students will continue working on identifying numbers and coins, other students will benefit from apps that allow the students to budget funds. Working in an extremely impoverished community, my students do not have consistent access to technology outside of school. In my classroom I have only one desktop computer for the students to use. This limits how long each student can learn using technology daily.
