I have had experience working with part of the Daily Math Fluency program that utilizes number strings and number talks. The current kit that I am asking for supplies different activity ideas to reinforce number sense skills and strategies through manipulatives and models. I am most excited about the center-based activities that students can be successful with during their small group learning time. I look forward to sharing these ideas with teachers as they create their own number sense small group activities. The kit will explore part to whole relationships, counting on, decomposing numbers, basic addition, basic subtraction, and equivalence. Can't wait to see our math brains grow!
