In order to meet each individual student where they are, I incorporate reading small groups on a daily basis in my classroom. The students are grouped based on their reading levels and individual needs, which gives me the opportunity to help each child's individual learning needs. However, I am running out of high interest texts for my students. I need leveled texts that engage my students, while allowing them to practice crucial reading skills. I am running out of texts that reach a lot of my lower level students. Some of them are feeling frustrated because they are reading texts that are too difficult and have been around for decades. My students need current and exciting books that reach their levels. Help me help them!
