I've noticed lately that my students seem OBSESSED with Fortnite. Their physical activity level has definitely decreased with so much video game playing. I would like to see them more active both at school and at home. The obesity epidemic is VERY real in high poverty areas. I don't think my students realize how little they move their bodies at home. The Unicef Kid Power Bands would help my students to track their activity level as well as helping those in need. It's a win/win! Unicef Kid Power Bands send life saving food to children in high need areas. I would love for my students to get good feelings from helping others as well as being healthy.
