Funded Dec 2, 2020Again thank you so much for your donors. I work at a title one school, which means we have several low-income families. They love and support our school as best as they can with time and love, but it is donors like you that make it possible for our classes to get hands-on STEM equipment and to use them to solve real-world problems.
Some of the items purchased were glow-up terrariums. The students were able to learn about photosynthesis, that also led into the concept of producers, consumers, and decomposers. Another item purchased with your donors was a mini water filtration system. My students were learning about Earth's system and how they interact, which led into the amount of useable water we have on our Earth today.
Our item received with the donors was our 3D printer, which we have used to print various 3D models for science and math. Also, we have printed some just for fun things. The students however are able to use those 3D models and understand more about a concept or object than when they were only permitted a picture or video of it. So, by far this has been the most exciting item donated. So, thank you and God bless.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Price
