My students come from diverse backgrounds. Our school population as a whole is over 70% free and reduced lunch. I want to provide all of my students with the opportunity to learn through play. Every child deserves the chance to experience learning through pretend play. These props will allow students to increase their social skills with one another. They will also bring reality to pretend play, which will contribute to the virtual and walking field trips we embark on throughout the school year. It's important for students to know and understand the resources available wihtin our community. In addition to this, my hope is the mailbox encourages early writing skills.
