I am requesting incentives in the form of small toys such as balls, parachute jumpers, and school supplies for students in my class who are respectful, responsible, and kind. My students with learning disabilities have to work extra hard to succeed at academics. I give them stickers for participating appropriately and completing their work. When they fill a sticker chart they can get a small toy or earn special privileges. A small incentive can really make the difference in the life of a child. Positive behavior should be recognized and honored! My students really put forth the extra effort they need to in order to learn when they are incentivized.
