Our students are highly motivated when technology is involved in their lessons. We would love to be able to have laptops available to more students at all times of the learning day. Currently, I see all the students in our K-6 public charter school. The laptops that we currently use are hit or miss when the students use them. Having a classroom set of Chromebooks would help my students become more confident and successful citizens as they grow and become gainful members of our community. These Chromebooks will empower learners as they construct knowledge and become savvy digital citizens. The students are learning beginning coding techniques and it is amazing watching them develop those critical thinking skills and applying them as the code their programs successfully. My goal is to be able to support students in their quest to quench their curiosity using technology in the classroom.
