We are looking forward to receiving these books. They will be a great tool as we continue to grow and learn in the classroom. We can't wait to share some pictures of us using our new books! This classroom project was brought to life by Dollar General Literacy Foundation and 8 other donors.

In 2nd grade students really become readers! They begin to love to read and get to explore new worlds within books! Unfortunately do to sickness/Covid the past couples years, my students have missed out on getting to visit our school library. Teaching at a smaller school our librarian is pulled to substitute more often then not. So because of this unfortunate situation my students are missing out on exploring the new places in their imaginations. I want to spruce up my classroom library so when this happens my students don't miss out on reading opportunities.
