  • Alexa? What's an Encyclopedia?

    The scholars and I would like to thank you for your generous gift of the Amazon Echo Plus (affectionately known as Alexa).

    "She" has been an excellent addition to our classroom and the scholars are taking full advantage of her wealth of knowledge. I have found Alexa useful while doing small group instruction as well. While I am with other scholars, students are required to ask Alexa at least 2 questions before they can ask me one. Just recently students quizzed themselves for an upcoming History final with her assistance and they all scored well.

  • Hear Ye! Hear Ye!... Headphones Are Needed!

    Thank you so much for your gracious donations to our campaign. The scholars put the headphones to good use and their test scores did reflect the change in concentration and understanding.

    Every campaign that I have will in some way positively affect our 6th grade scholars. If you feel like contributing again, please look out for my other campaigns and do so. It truly takes a village to raise and educate our youth and every donation will be used to do just that.

Many of our students have never visited downtown, let alone, attended an Indians Baseball game. So this experience will not only excite them as a new experience, but by throwing baseball into the curriculum, students will also be engaged and urged to learn English, Math, Science and History in an exciting new way. This trip will also show students that there is more to our city than the 3 block radius they live in. Students will not only get the opportunity to visit downtown Indianapolis but also see some of the other attractions that bring visitors to our wonderful and exciting city.

About my class
