Happy Headphones

I want to thank you so much for the huge difference you have made in my classroom this year! My 7th grade reading intervention students use an online program called i-Ready. i-Ready is designed to help students practice reading and comprehension skills on an individual level. In middle school, there are students that read on grade-level, but there are many students that read on a grade-level two or three years behind. This means that students struggle to determine unfamiliar words and understand what a passage or novel is communicating. Teachers rely on i-Ready to provide on-level lessons for students, so that they can practice reading and comprehension skills that they may be behind on. The headphones that you donated make this process so much easier for me and my students. The students use the headphones for all i-Ready lessons and quizzes. I have also been able to implement multimedia in assignments and assessments thanks to these headphones! Students are able to watch videos or listen to songs that will help them make connections from our ELA curriculum to the wider world. Thank you so much for the impact you have made on my students during this crazy year. Your generosity is appreciated and will not be forgotten!”
