Many students struggle to sit still and because of this, it makes it difficult to for them to be actively engaged in their learning. My project is designed to allow students the flexibility and encourages them to be actively engaged. With the Stay-in-Place balls and wobble cushions students are allowed the freedom to move as they need to. My students LOVE to take charge of their learning and I want to help encourage that by letting them take charge of how they get to sit. The flexible seating gives students the chance to have the choice to sit at whatever's best for them to learn. Giving students this freedom allows for students to take charge of their education, which is what I encourage them to do.
