These seat pockets are a great tool for helping students stay organized. In first grade, we have many subjects with folders and notebooks to match. Right now, each table has a bin with all of their supplies in it. It works, but is not very efficient. With these seat pockets, students will have all of their materials readily available at their seats so they can spend more time on the activity at hand. This will allow every child to develop the foundations of organizational skills while becoming more autonomous and responsible for their materials.
